By day, I’m a husband, dad, fisherman, and self-employed blogger and digital marketer.
By night (and whenever I can steal the time) I write the kinds of stories I hope my kids will one day pull from the library shelves: adventures filled with courage, wonder, and the kind of magic that changes you from the inside out.
I hold an MFA from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, and my short fiction has appeared in The New Haven Review, The Los Angeles Review, and other literary journals.
I’m currently seeking representation for my debut middle grade fantasy novel, a story about the cost of reaching for a life larger than the one you’re born into – and how courage itself can be a kind of magic.
